Job summary

UPS Supply Chain Solutions, Inc. is seeking a reliable Automotive Technician to join our fleet maintenance team.

You will service a diverse range of vehicles including delivery vans, heavy-duty tractors, and trailers, across installations that use diesel, gas, or alternative propulsion such as CNG, LNG, propane, hybrid, and electric systems. The role requires hands-on troubleshooting of brakes, electrical systems, and engine controls, with a willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shifts.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. driver's license required.
• Willing to work 2nd or 3rd shifts per location.
• Must supply required hand tools.
• Current automotive mechanical experience.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment and scan tools.
• Class A/B CDL preferred.
• Able to work in varying temperatures and environments.

Responsibilities

• Meets DOT requirements as assigned.
• Performs maintenance on brakes, electrical and engine systems.
• Operates standard/manual transmissions and tools.
• Keeps safety and PPE compliance.
• Works shifting schedules as needed.
