Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers in Jacksonville, FL seeks an Automotive Technician to perform basic to advanced maintenance and repair tasks, inspect vehicles, and troubleshoot issues to ensure customer satisfaction. Reports to Store and Service Managers and supports a fast, high-quality service environment.

The role requires diagnosing and repairing systems, maintaining safety standards, and staying current with automotive technology.

Qualifications

2 years’ automotive service or engine diagnostic experience in a professional capacity
ASE Certification preferred, but not required
Must have Technician Tools
Valid driver’s license
Ability to operate and drive vehicles
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background screen
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Top-notch customer service skills with a desire to build long term trust
Willingness to work Saturdays

Responsibilities

Apply in-depth automotive repair knowledge to diagnostic and repair tasks
Provide service of the highest quality to customers
Perform skilled mechanical work while analyzing and diagnosing problems
Inspect, replace and/or repair defective parts and perform preventative maintenance
Continuously learn new technical information and techniques to stay current
Demonstrate behaviors aligned with the company’s vision, mission and values
Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety standards
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
