The role requires knowledge of engine, electrical, transmission, and brake systems, plus strong customer service and teamwork. A valid driver's license and HS diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in diagnostics, electrical and engine repair.
• Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies.
• Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency per dealership policies.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems with diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, AC.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional services.
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
