Job summary

UPS is seeking a reliable Automotive Technician to join our fleet maintenance team. You will maintain delivery vehicles, heavy duty tractors, and trailers from multiple manufacturers, using diagnostic tools and hand tools.

You will work across shifts (2nd/3rd) and must be able to travel as needed, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include operating standard and manual transmissions, meeting DOT requirements, and ensuring consistent maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Class B CDL required or willing to obtain within 90 days.
• Willing to travel and work varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a diverse range of equipment including delivery vehicles, heavy duty tractors and trailers.
• Operate standard and manual transmissions and power tools.
• Use diagnostic equipment and scan tools to troubleshoot systems.
• Meet DOT requirements and CDL qualifications for the assignment.
