Job summary

The Automotive Technician at Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) plays a key role in our automotive service team, learning to diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles under guidance. You will perform maintenance, inspections, tire services and assist in repairs while delivering quality workmanship.

We offer a flat-rate pay model, a $750 sign-on bonus at 30 days and another $750 at 90 days, with a pay range of $17.50 to $26.30 per hour in Grand Junction, CO.

Qualifications

• Must have basic mechanical aptitude to learn and perform services.
• Valid automobile driver’s license required at all times.
• Basic reading, writing and math skills needed for daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance and wheel services.
• Install parts and components as directed.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs.

Skills

Basic mechanical aptitude

Education

Vocational-Technical School program in related field

ASE certification (or equivalent)
