Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our service team. Learn and develop skills in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles under guidance of experienced techs; interact with customers to explain repairs and provide high-quality workmanship.

Pay range is $15.75 to $23.67 per hour with flat-rate pay, and we offer training, ASE certifications, benefits including medical, paid vacation, 401(k), and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times.
• Basic understanding of automotive maintenance and tire repair services.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brakes.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Pursue ASE certifications within two years (tests paid by company).
