Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is hiring Automotive Technicians to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles with hands-on training under experienced staff. You will perform routine inspections, service tasks, and customer interactions to explain repair procedures and ensure high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced setting.

The role offers a $1,500 sign-on bonus for first-time hires and a flat-rate pay model with a pay range of $19.25–$28.93 per hour.

Qualifications

• 2 years of automotive repair experience or completion of Vocational-Technical School program in automotive field, or demonstrated skills via third party certificates/assessment.
• A.S.E certification or equivalent external qualifications or training certifications.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years of employment (tests and registrations fees paid by company).

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Perform inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Interact with customers to explain repair procedures and provide service.

Skills

Ability to learn basic mechanics tasks

Education

ASE certification or equal external qualifications
