Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is hiring an Automotive Technician to join our service team. You’ll learn and perform diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance under guidance of experienced technicians, while delivering high-quality workmanship.

The role offers a sign-on bonus of $1,500 for first-time hires and a flat-rate pay model with regional variation. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment and interact with customers to explain repair procedures and services.

Qualifications

• Must learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Hold a valid driver’s license at all times.
• Understand basic automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Reading, writing, and math skills required.
• Preferred: 2 years automotive repair experience.
• Preferred: ASE certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brakes.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Pursue ASE certifications within two years; tests paid by company.
