Summerville Ford, a Hudson Automotive Company, is seeking experienced Automotive Technicians to join our award-winning service team in North Charleston, SC. This role offers a salary range of $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year plus commission, with signing bonuses based on qualifications and yearly technician retention bonuses.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License is required.
• 3-5+ years automotive technician experience are required.
• Ford experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C, etc.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional needed work and time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications and coordinate with parts department.

What are the responsibilities for an Automotive Technician with Hudson Automotive?

• Technicians perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with quality and dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications and communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.

Qualifications:

• Valid Drivers License
• 3-5+ years Automotive Technician Experience Required
• Ford experience preferred
