Job Description: The Automotive Technician role is full-time or part-time, focusing on vehicle diagnostics, routine repairs, and maintenance, delivering 5-star service through effective communication and quality work.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform vehicle diagnostics and identify required repairs.
  • Complete courtesy inspections, document findings, and communicate additional services needed.
  • Assist with inventory management and store duties, ensuring cleanliness and readiness.
  • Follow safety standards, operate equipment safely, and complete required training.
  • Perform test drives and adhere to safety and environmental policies.
  • Maintain technical skills through ongoing training.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Automotive training or experience; ASE certification and State Inspection license preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with good MVR; own basic tools or participate in tool purchase program.

Profile Summary:

  • Basic automotive maintenance and repair skills.
  • Ability to diagnose problems and interpret instructions.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements: Shop environment with exposure to noise, weather, chemicals, and physical activity including lifting up to 75 lbs., standing, reaching, and bending.
