Job summary

Summerville Ford, part of Hudson Automotive Group, is seeking experienced Ford Truck/Diesel Technicians to join a high-volume service team. Earn $80k-$160k annually with commission, sign-on bonus, and yearly retention bonus in a climate-controlled facility.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License is required.
• 3-5+ years automotive technician experience.
• Ford experience preferred.
• Customer-focused, self-motivated and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance per repair orders to dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnostic checks using required tools.
• Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, brakes, etc.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional services and time estimates.
• Assist with warranty work following manufacturer specifications.

What are the responsibilities for an Automotive Technician with Hudson Automotive?

• Technicians perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with quality and dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications and communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.

Qualifications:

• Valid Drivers License
• 3-5+ years Automotive Technician Experience Required
• Ford experience preferred
