Job summary

Midlands Honda in Columbia, SC is seeking automotive technicians to join our high-volume service team. Earn $70k–$120k per year with commission and a sign-on bonus, in a production-driven shop.

Responsibilities include diagnostics, test-driving, engine/electrical repairs, and coordinating with the Service Advisor. We offer health/dental/vision, 401k, PTO from Day 1, plus training and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years automotive technician experience is required.
• Manufacturer experience preferred.
• Customer-focused professional who is self-motivated and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Technicians perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor regarding additional services and time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications and coordinate with parts department for needed parts.

What are the responsibilities for an Automotive Technician with Hudson Automotive?

• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications and communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.

Qualifications:

• Valid Drivers License
• 3-5+ years Automotive Technician Experience (Required)
• Manufacturer experience preferred
