Job summary

Hooks Lincoln Fort Worth is seeking skilled Automotive Technicians to join our service team and build a long-term career at a family-owned dealership. We offer a steady workflow with an average of 40–60+ hours per week and pay from $28 to $50 per hour based on experience.

This full-time position includes medical, dental, and vision coverage plus life insurance and paid time off. We welcome technicians with main shop or used-vehicle reconditioning background; Ford/Lincoln experience is not

Qualifications

• Experience in main shop and/or used-vehicle reconditioning.
• ASE or manufacturer certifications are a plus but not required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns.
• Perform maintenance and repairs including brakes, suspension, steering, HVAC, drivability, and related systems.
• Inspect and recondition used vehicles for retail sale.
• Complete customer-pay, warranty, and internal repairs.
• Use diagnostic equipment and service information to identify needed repairs.
• Complete work accurately, efficiently, and to dealership standards.

We’re looking for technicians with main shop experience and/or used vehicle reconditioning experience who take pride in quality, efficient work. Ford Lincoln experience is not required, and technicians from other dealerships, independent repair facilities, domestic, or import brands are encouraged to apply.

What We’re Looking For:

• Main shop, dealership, used-car reconditioning, or independent repair experience preferred
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• ASE or manufacturer certifications are a plus but not required
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Dependable, quality-focused, and able to work well with a team
