Job summary

Hireology is seeking a Service Technician with luxury-vehicle experience to join our growing team. The right candidate will have Lincoln-Ford certification and a strong service background, performing work on repair orders and diagnosing needed repairs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; PA State inspection and Emissions License required.
• Lincoln-Ford Certification a plus.
• Previous experience at a Lincoln and/or Ford dealership is preferred.
• Previous experience working with luxury vehicles is preferred.
• B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair.
• Dexterity with steady hand and good hand-eye coordination.
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills; able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies.
• Positive, friendly attitude and eagerness to improve.
• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment; strong teamwork.
• Ability to learn new technology, repair procedures and specifications.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to identify needed repairs.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional needed services and provide time estimates.
• Execute repairs under manufacturer specifications and warranties.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership

• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.

• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs

• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
