State Motors Lincoln in Manchester, NH is seeking a skilled Lincoln Automotive Service Technician. The ideal candidate will have a strong service background with ASE and Ford certifications preferred, and solid diagnostic abilities to identify repairs efficiently.

You will perform work on repair orders, test-drive vehicles, diagnose systems, and communicate with the Service Advisor. The dealership offers growth opportunities, a stable schedule, and top-tier benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; ASE certification preferred.
• 2+ years of service technician experience preferred.
• Lincoln certification or ability to obtain it is preferred.
• Strong diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair skills.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose components using diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, brakes, etc.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional repairs and time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities for a Lincoln Automotive Service Technician:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership

• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.

• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs

• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications for a Lincoln Automotive Service Technician:

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification preferred

• Lincoln Certification

• Previous experience at a Lincoln dealership is preferred

• B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair

• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination

• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment

• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies

• Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve

• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment

• Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively

• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
