TekWissen is seeking an Automotive Technical Support Specialist or Advisor fluent in French Canadian and English to join our team in Auburn Hills, MI. The role provides diagnostic assistance to dealership technicians via inbound calls and tickets, emphasizing accurate troubleshooting and customer service.

This temporary assignment (12 months) offers remote work with Monday–Friday shifts and some weekend coverage.

Position: Automotive Technical Support Specialist or Automotive Technical Advisor or Automotive Customer Support Specialist

Location: Auburn Hills, MI 48326

Duration: 12 Months (Potential Extension)

Job Type: Temporary Assignment

Work Type: Remote

Shift Timings: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts between 8:00 AM and 11:00 PM EST; occasional Saturday shifts between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM

Fluent in French Canadian and English

Pay Rate: $28.00 - $29.00/Hr

• We are seeking experienced and customer-focused Automotive Technical Support Specialists who are fluent in French Canadian and English to join our growing team in client location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle inbound technical calls and support tickets from dealership technicians.
• Provide automotive diagnostic guidance and troubleshooting assistance.
• Research vehicle repair information using internal databases and technical resources.
• Follow a structured six-step diagnostic process to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Manage and follow up on open tickets to ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain accurate documentation and update ticket statuses.
• Communicate product concerns and technical findings to Quality, Engineering, and Technical Advisor teams.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through accurate and timely technical support.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve diagnostic processes and service quality.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1-2 years of automotive repair experience, OR a Bachelor's Degree, OR an Automotive Technical Trade School Certificate or equivalent relevant experience.
• Fluent in French Canadian and English, including strong verbal, reading, and writing skills.
• Strong automotive troubleshooting and diagnostic knowledge.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience with EV, BEV, PHEV, or hybrid vehicle technologies.
• ASE Certification (or willingness to obtain certification within the first six months).
• Experience with automotive diagnostic equipment and repair tools.
• Familiarity with dealership information systems and technical databases.
• Knowledge of Tier 1 OEM supplier North American vehicle brands and product lines.
• Previous automotive dealership, service center, or technical call center experience.
