Job summary

Hudson Nissan of Summerville is actively seeking Automotive Technicians to join our high-volume service team. The role offers a generous salary range ($70,000.00 - $120,000.00) with commissions, year-end bonuses, and a retention bonus program in a climate-controlled facility.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years automotive technician experience.
• Nissan/Infiniti experience preferred.
• Customer-focused, self-motivated, coachable.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair work per repair order efficiently and to dealer standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose components and systems with diagnostic tools.
• Repair vehicle systems (engine, transmission, electrical, steering, brakes, HVAC) and communicate with Service Advisor.

What are the responsibilities for an Automotive Technician with Hudson Automotive?

• Technicians perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with quality and dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications and communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
