Hudson Nissan of North Charleston, a Hudson Automotive Company, seeks Automotive Technicians to join a high-volume service team in North Charleston, SC. The role offers a salary range of $70,000–$120,000 with commission/bonus potential and an emphasis on growth within a long-standing family-owned group.

Qualified candidates have 3–5 years of automotive technician experience, valid driver's license, and preferred manufacturer exposure.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required.
• 3-5+ years automotive technician experience.
• Manufacturer experience preferred.
• Customer-focused, self-motivated and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Technicians perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, a/c, etc.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about needed additional services and provide time estimates for repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications and coordinate with parts for needed components.

What are the responsibilities for an Automotive Technician with Hudson Automotive?

• Technicians perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with quality and dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications and communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.

Qualifications:

• Valid Drivers License
• 3-5+ years Automotive Technician Experience Required
• Manufacturer experience preferred
• Customer focused professional who is self-motivated, competitive and coachable.
