Job summary

Hudson Nissan of Summerville, a Hudson Automotive Company, is hiring automotive technicians to join our award-winning, high-volume service team in Summerville, SC. Employment offers open-to-closing shifts, with a compensation range of $70,000–$120,000 per year plus commissions and yearly bonuses.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years automotive technician experience required.
• Nissan/Infiniti experience preferred.
• Customer focused professional who is self-motivated, competitive and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance per repair orders with quality and dealer standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Repair vehicle components including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C, etc.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about needed additional repairs and time estimates.
• Complete warranty repairs per manufacturer specifications and coordinate with parts to obtain needed parts.

What are the responsibilities for an Automotive Technician with Hudson Automotive?

• Technicians perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with quality and dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications and communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
