Job summary

Gastonia Nissan, part of Hudson Automotive Group, is seeking Automotive Technicians to join our high‑volume service team at Gastonia, NC. Earn top pay with bonuses and a supportive, climate‑controlled facility.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years automotive technician experience required.
• Manufacturer experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs per repair order to dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose systems using diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems (engine, transmission, electrical, steering, brakes, A/C).
• Communicate repair estimates and required additional work to the Service Advisor.
• Coordinate with parts to obtain needed components and complete repairs.

Experienced Technicians $70k - $100k Earning Potential

Express/Maintenance Technicians $17/hr up to $23/hr

Responsibilities

• Technicians perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with quality and dealership standards.
• Test‑drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications and communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License
• 3-5+ years Automotive Technician Experience (Required)
• Manufacturer experience preferred
• Customer focused professional who is self‑motivated, competitive and coachable.
