At Midas, we are dedicated to providing quality services to customer vehicles in the areas of inspection, diagnosis, and repair, utilizing the expertise attained through ASE Certifications and/or years of automotive repair experience.

The Midas Store Manager is responsible for business operations and store performance, including safety, efficiencies, and profit/loss accountability. He or she promotes customer satisfaction and retention, and growth of existing and new business. Additionally, the Store Manager oversees operations related to cost control, inventory management, environmental compliance, and safety. They provide strong leadership to cultivate a harmonious, collaborative, and productive work culture.

We seek a seasoned manager with an entrepreneurial spirit who will take responsibility for operations, financial performance, morale, and growth initiatives. The ideal candidate has a college degree or coursework (preferred), three years of automotive repair business experience, supervisory/management/mentoring experience, a background in continuous improvement, P&L experience, and exceptional interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, motivate, evaluate, schedule, and coach employees
• Deliver exceptional customer service, listening and consulting with customers
• Follow up with customers regarding services, estimated completion times, etc.
• Oversee vehicle inspections, make recommendations, build computerized repair orders, source parts
• Discuss pricing estimates with customers and promote shop service specials
• Lead, manage, and train team aligned with company vision, purpose, core values, and employee creed
• Oversee sales, accounting, and clerical functions from Service Advisors
• Supervise technicians’ inspections, diagnosing, and repairing of domestic, European, and Asian cars and light trucks
• Maintain inventory counts and manage inventory losses
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the facility, including environmental compliance
• Manage employee payroll, record hours, and scheduling
• Update and submit daily sales reports to Corporate

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of store or service management experience
• General automotive knowledge
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good communication skills
• Strong POS computer and Internet skills
• Leadership and team-building skills
• Ability to work flexible retail hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays

Compensation: $60,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
