Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a General Manager to inspire the team, drive sales, and grow the business with integrity.

The role covers both sales and management responsibilities, requiring knowledge of store and automotive systems and the ability to troubleshoot and project assist for DIY. The position is exempt and expects a long-week schedule (50-55 hours), with rotating nights and weekends and hourly lunch breaks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license; ASE certification preferred, but not required.

Responsabilités

• Achieve overall store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage and grow Professional Customer relationships/sales and lead the team to execute action plans.
• Hire, develop, coach, schedule and engage store team members.
• Ensure inventory and operational standards are followed.
• Coach team to meet customer expectations (DIY and Professional).
• Handle manager-on-duty duties including safety and open/close tasks.
• Lead change management and promote diversity in the workplace.
• Provide DIY services (e.g., battery installation, wiper installation) as needed.
• Support District/Region in other functions upon request.
