Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a General Manager to inspire our team, grow customer relationships, and drive profitable sales while maintaining service standards. The role requires knowledge of store and automotive systems, and the ability to troubleshoot and project-assist DIY opportunities.

The position is exempt, with long hours and a schedule that includes evenings and weekends. You will oversee 10–20 team members, coach performance, and ensure safety and inventory processes are followed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; business degree preferred.
• Experience leading a retail team and managing profitability.
• Ability to build strong relationships with customers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Achieve overall store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage and grow Professional Customer relationships and sales.
• Hire, develop, coach, schedule and engage store Team Members.
• Ensure execution of inventory and operational standards.
• Lead on duty responsibilities and safety compliance.
• Embrace change and foster a respectful environment.
• Provide DIY service including battery and wiper installations.
