Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a General Manager who can inspire the team, elevate customer success, and grow the business with integrity. This exempt, full-time leadership role requires 50–55 hours weekly, including nights and weekends, with a focus on automotive parts knowledge and DIY/Professional customer growth.

The GM will drive sales, manage a diverse team, maintain store appearance, oversee inventory, and coach staff to meet performance targets while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience managing a team of 10–20 in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Experience managing profitability and business metrics is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to meet physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Achieve store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage Professional Customer relationships and program growth.
• Hire, develop, coach, schedule and engage store Team Members.
• Ensure execution of inventory and operational standards.
• Lead on-duty responsibilities and safety compliance.
• Support scheduling and shift management, including weekends.
