Job summary

DENSO in North America in Michigan is seeking a field sales professional to promote and sell the company's automotive products within an assigned territory. You will pursue leads, visit customers, assess their needs, negotiate terms, and close orders to meet revenue targets.

The role emphasizes building relationships, coordinating with plants and DNJP, and contributing to strategic sales plans. A bachelor's degree is required, 0-3 years of experience, and familiarity with VW or Audi is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with VW or Audi preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a liaison between customers, plants and affiliate personnel to coordinate and resolve commercial and business issues.
• Interacts with customers and DNJP regarding requirements and capacity; coordinates with production control.
• Follows up on accounts receivable and ensures paperwork accuracy.
• Builds and maintains relationships with internal and external customers to address issues and gather market intelligence.
• Assists in negotiating pricing, costs and timing with plants and customers.
• Implements customer/product based strategies and supports sales plans.
