Job summary

Pecheles Automotive Group is seeking an experienced Shop Foreman to lead our service department's technician team. This is a leadership role focused on running the shop and ensuring high-quality repairs, not turning wrenches on the lift.

You will supervise daily work, coordinate scheduling, and enforce warranty guidelines, safety, and productivity standards while partnering with the Service Manager to drive shop performance across our Eastern North Carolina locations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on technician experience with diagnostic/repair background.
• Proven ability to supervise and coach technicians.
• Working knowledge of warranty guidelines and documentation.
• ASE certification(s) preferred; manufacturer-specific certifications a plus.
• Sharp eye for quality control and low tolerance for shortcuts.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily work of the technician team, assigning jobs based on skill level, certification, and shop capacity.
• Perform quality control review on completed repairs before vehicles are released, catching errors before they become comebacks.
• Oversee warranty repair compliance, ensuring documentation, procedures, and repair standards meet manufacturer requirements.
• Serve as the technical escalation point for technicians working through diagnostic or repair challenges.
• Partner with the Service Manager on shop scheduling, workflow, and technician productivity.
• Monitor technician certification status and coordinate ongoing manufacturer training requirements.
• Maintain shop safety, cleanliness, and equipment standards.
