Pecheles Automotive Group is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead a high-performing sales floor at one of our Eastern North Carolina dealerships. This isn’t an entry point into automotive sales—it’s a leadership role for someone who knows how to close deals, coach a team, and run the department like a business owner would.

You’ll own the desk, structure deals, approve pricing, and manage deal flow from write-up to delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a top-performing salesperson or existing sales manager in automotive retail.
• Track record of leading, motivating, and holding a sales team accountable to real numbers.
• Strong desking and deal-structuring skills, with a solid grasp of F&I fundamentals.
• Drive for continuous improvement — for yourself and everyone on your team.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Willingness to work a retail schedule, including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and hold accountable a team of sales professionals to hit and exceed monthly volume and gross targets.
• Own the desk — structure deals, approve pricing, and manage deal flow from write-up to delivery.
• Set the pace on the floor: daily huddles, performance tracking, and hands-on coaching in real time.
• Partner with the General Manager and F&I team to keep inventory turn, CSI scores, and profitability on target.
• Recruit, develop, and retain top sales talent as the department grows.
