Job summary

Pecheles Automotive Group is seeking an experienced Shop Foreman to lead our service department's technician team. This leadership role focuses on shop operations, quality control, and customer satisfaction, not turning wrenches.

You will supervise technicians, prioritize jobs, ensure warranty compliance, coordinate training, and uphold safety and cleanliness across our North Carolina dealership network.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on technician leadership experience.
• Ability to supervise and coach technicians to meet quality and productivity targets.
• Familiarity with manufacturer warranty guidelines and documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily work of the technician team, assigning jobs based on skill level, certification, and shop capacity.
• Perform quality control review on completed repairs before vehicles are released, catching errors before they become comebacks.
• Oversee warranty repair compliance, ensuring documentation, procedures, and repair standards meet manufacturer requirements.
• Serve as the technical escalation point for technicians working through diagnostic or repair challenges.
• Partner with the Service Manager on shop scheduling, workflow, and technician productivity.
• Monitor technician certification status and coordinate ongoing manufacturer training requirements.
• Maintain shop safety, cleanliness, and equipment standards.

If you know what a clean repair order looks like, can spot a comeback before it happens, and can get a team of technicians pulling in the same direction, we want you leading our floor.

What You'll Do

What You Bring

• Extensive hands-on technician experience with a strong diagnostic and repair background — you've earned the credibility to lead this team
• Proven ability to supervise, coach, and hold a team of technicians accountable to quality and productivity standards
• Working knowledge of manufacturer warranty guidelines and documentation requirements
• ASE certification(s) preferred; manufacturer-specific certifications a plus
• Sharp eye for quality control and a low tolerance for shortcuts
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
