Automotive Shop Foreman

This Automotive Shop Foreman role is for someone who can keep workflow tight, mentor technicians, handle the toughest diagnostics, and maintain the level of efficiency and professionalism customers actually notice. What You’ll Do

• Oversee daily shop workflow to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and on‑time repairs
• Support technicians with advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair guidance
• Perform high‑level diagnostic and repair work when needed
• Work closely with service advisors to ensure clear communication and proper documentation
• Maintain quality control standards across all repairs and maintenance
• Train, mentor, and develop technicians at all skill levels
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
• Assist management with process improvements and shop performance goals

What Makes You a Strong Fit

• Extensive experience as an Automotive Technician, preferably in a dealership environment
• Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting abilitiesProven leadership skills — techs trust your judgment and follow your direction
• Ability to manage workflow, prioritize repairs, and keep the shop moving
• Excellent communication skills with both technicians and advisors
• Familiarity with OEM systems, scan tools, and repair procedures
• ASE or OEM Master certifications are a strong plus
