CarCare Import and Domestic Service is seeking a Shop Foreman to lead our automotive repair team. This full-time role offers a strong base plus performance bonuses, relocation assistance, and sign-on bonuses for proven leaders.

As a Shop Foreman, you will supervise technicians, manage workflow, and drive efficiency across import and domestic vehicles while upholding top-quality service.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on experience as automotive technician, with at least 3 years in lead or supervisory role.
• Advanced mechanical knowledge across makes/models.
• Proven leadership with team motivation and performance improvement.
• Familiarity with shop management software, warranties and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor technicians, assign tasks, monitor progress and ensure quality workmanship.
• Oversee shop workflow from diagnostics to repairs, optimize efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, provide technical guidance, and collaborate with service advisors on estimates.
• Conduct quality inspections, maintain records and implement process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Enforce shop policies, manage inventory, and coordinate with management on scheduling and resource allocation.
• Stay ahead of automotive trends and technologies to train the team and uphold superior service quality.

Qualifications We Value

• 8+ years of hands-on experience as an automotive technician, with at least 3 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Expert mechanical knowledge in diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance for all makes and models.
• Proven leadership abilities with a history of team motivation, conflict resolution, and performance enhancement.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with shop management software, warranties, and safety protocols.
• ASE Master Technician certification or equivalent is highly preferred.

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in a fast-paced shop environment, and remain active throughout the day, including on elevated vehicles.
