B&C Diesel Services is seeking a knowledgeable Service Writer to join our team. You will act as a liaison between customers and the service department to ensure maintenance and repair needs are clearly communicated and addressed.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, documenting concerns, providing detailed estimates, upselling services, scheduling appointments, maintaining records, following up after service, and staying current with promotions and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems, including diesel.
• Dealership experience or as a mechanic preferred.
• Proficiency in upselling automotive services while maintaining excellent customer relations.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
• Familiarity with tire service procedures, alignment processes, and general automotive repair practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks.

The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between customers and the service department, ensuring that fleet and vehicle maintenance and repair needs are accurately communicated and addressed. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive repair processes, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to upsell services when appropriate. Willing to train service writer position
