Job summary

MFA Petroleum Company is hiring a Big O Tires General Service Technician in Missouri. You will perform routine service and installation tasks, including oil changes, tire rotation, and customer-focused sales activities, while maintaining store appearance and safety standards.

The role requires reliability, the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, a valid driver's license, and willingness to work holidays or weekends. Training and advancement opportunities are provided within MFA Oil's broader family.

Qualifications

• 17 years of age or older (with parental consent).
• Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials.
• Ability to operate a computer and office productivity tools.
• Ability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Ability to communicate accurately with customers.
• Ability to work with hazardous materials and outdoors.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to obtain MO Motor Vehicle Inspection license within 6 months (Missouri stores).

Responsibilities

• Drain and change oil, lubricate, rotate and balance tires; check fluids and filters.
• Unload tires and merchandise from trucks and deliveries.
• Inspect disposed tires and store or dispose of tires properly.
• Keep facilities, tools, and shelves clean and organized.
• Greet customers and deliver fast, friendly service.
• Explain benefits to promote sales and perform sales duties per policy.
• Maintain store appearance to Big O Tires standards.
• Safely operate customer vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
• Complete training and keep supervisor informed of issues.
• Assist in training new employees as needed.
