Job summary

VIP Tires & Service is seeking an Installation Technician to perform tire services, routine maintenance, and vehicle inspections in a safety-focused shop environment. The role requires following VIP processes, completing required training, and ensuring service is performed right the first time.

The ideal candidate has automotive experience, a valid driver's license, and ASE certifications or willingness to obtain them. Teamwork, safety and accurate paperwork are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

One year of related experience in automotive service field.
Completion of a two-year college or technical school program recommended.
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Current, valid driver’s license required.
ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5) and state inspection license encouraged.

Responsibilities

Safety is priority; follow all safety policies and training.
Provide tire services, oil changes, MPI, wheel alignments and preventive maintenance.
Ensure a valid Service Work Order is started and displayed.
Complete MPI prior to service and support the 5-for-5 Customer Engagement process.
Return unused parts to the Desk Team after service.
Maintain a clean, safe work area and secure vehicles after service.
