Job summary

VIP is seeking an Installation Technician in Maine to perform tire services, oil changes, MPIs, wheel alignment and preventive maintenance. The role requires safe operation and accurate service work with attention to quality and customer satisfaction.

You will follow VIP safety and process standards, complete required training and certifications, and work with a team to ensure first-time right service and customer loyalty.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience in automotive service field.
• Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended.
• Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence.
• Equipment Safety Certification.
• ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended.
• ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering.
• ASE Certification A5 – Brakes.
• State Inspection License.

Responsibilities

• Provide automotive repair and maintenance services including Tire Services, Oil Changes, Under hood Services (Batteries, Filters, Bulbs, Wipers, etc.), MPIs, Wheel Alignments and Preventive Maintenance.
• Ensure a valid Service Work Order is initiated and displayed during service.
• Complete an MPI prior to service and support the 5-for-5 Customer Engagement process.
• Return unused parts to Desk Team and manage cores, batteries, and tires as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety/loss prevention programs.
• Participate in required trainings and certifications and attend meetings as needed.
