Serra Traverse City is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to join our team. You will diagnose and repair vehicles, communicate with parts and service advisors, and ensure quality workmanship. The role includes documentation, road testing, and participation in ongoing manufacturer training.

Qualifications

• Own a valid driver’s license and have strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.
• Experience writing routine reports and communicating with customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle issues and perform repairs to dealership and factory standards.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Document all work on repair orders and road-test vehicles when required.
• Supervise apprentices as assigned and participate in manufacturer training.
• Maintain shop safety, keep work areas clean, and ensure proper tool handling.
