Job summary

Leeds West Groups is seeking a General Service Technician to perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction. The role emphasizes using diagnostic tools, teamwork, and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced automotive retail setting.

You will work alongside senior technicians, communicate repair recommendations to customers, and support store management to ensure efficient service delivery.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and valid driver's license.
• Experience in automotive service preferred; ability to perform maintenance and inspections.
• Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and repair procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance services (oil changes, tire rotations, fluid flushes, filter replacements).
• Assist with comprehensive vehicle inspections and diagnose issues.
• Complete repairs and maintenance tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Use diagnostic equipment and manuals to troubleshoot automotive problems.
• Ensure work meets manufacturer specs and safety standards.
• Conduct test drives and communicate results clearly to customers and management.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work area in compliance with OSHA and company policies.
• Collaborate with senior technicians and store/ service managers to optimize workflow.
