Job summary

Leeds West Groups is hiring a General Service Technician to perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs in a fast-paced automotive retail and repair environment. You will use diagnostic tools, discuss estimates with customers, and work with senior techs to deliver quality service.

The role requires strong integrity, teamwork, and knowledge of automotive systems, with onsite work and up to 25% travel between local stores. Schedule includes Monday–Saturday with varying hours.

Qualifications

• Strong integrity and customer service focus.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and automotive diagnostics.
• Able to work in a fast-paced sales/environment.
• Valid driver’s license and work authorization in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, tire rotations, fluid flushes, and filter changes.
• Assist with vehicle inspections to identify safety and maintenance needs.
• Complete repairs efficiently and accurately per specs.
• Use diagnostic equipment and manuals to troubleshoot automotive problems.
• Ensure work meets manufacturer specs and safety standards.
• Conduct quality checks and test-drives to verify repairs.
• Communicate recommendations and estimates to customers and staff.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment per OSHA.
