Job summary

Rochester Ford is seeking an experienced automotive technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles in a busy shop. You will work on engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, and climate control using diagnostic tools and OEM procedures.

Qualifications include ASE certifications a plus, strong automotive background, teamwork, a clean driving record, and willingness to undergo a background check. The role offers a stable full-time schedule and opportunities for career advancement.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency.
• Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to identify issues.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, brakes, A/C, etc.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional service needs and times.
• Execute repairs under warranty to meet manufacturer specs.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
