Job description

We are looking for an Automotive Service Technician to join our growing team. The right candidate will have a service technician background and Ford experience is a plus. The day‑to‑day duties include performing work on specific repair orders and diagnosing what repairs need to be done.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test‑drive vehicles, test components, and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, and related components.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers about any additional service needed and provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ford Certification is a plus.
• Strong diagnostic, electrical and engine repair skills (B‑level qualifications).
• Dexterity, steady hand, excellent hand‑eye coordination.
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills with ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies.
• Positive, friendly attitude with eagerness to improve.
• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
• Team player with ability to collaborate effectively.
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
