Serra Ford Rochester Hills is seeking a Ford Certified automotive service technician to join a high-volume dealership in a modern, air-conditioned service center. The role offers a benefits package and above-competitive pay for qualified individuals.

The position requires at least 2 years of experience, strong diagnostic skills, and a commitment to quality customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• At least 2 years of automotive technician experience.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Knowledge of gasoline engine repair and maintenance.
• Ford and State certifications in gasoline engine repair.

Responsibilities

• Performing work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing gasoline engine vehicles.
• Communicating directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Automotive Service Technician Responsibilities

Automotive Service Technician Job Requirements

• High School diploma
• Must have at least 2 years of experience as Automotive technician
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
