Napleton Nissan is seeking an Automotive Service Technician for our Northlake location. You will perform vehicle repair and maintenance to dealer and factory standards, diagnose issues, and explain repairs clearly to customers to build trust and loyalty.

Qualifications

• Automotive Service Technician experience is required.
• ASE certification desirable.
• Excellent customer service and strong communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license; 18+; willing to undergo background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance per repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive Customer loyalty.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
• Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
• Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers.
• Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins and participate in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate.
• Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintains an organized work area.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

• Automotive Service Technician experience
• ASE certification desirable
• Excellent customer service

• Valid Driver’s License
