Job summary

BMW of Des Moines, part of Lithia & Driveway, is hiring Class B and C Technicians. Pay ranges from $25.00 to $35.00 per flat rate hour, depending on experience, with full-time schedules (Mon–Fri 7:30am–5:30pm; Sat 8am–4pm).

We value 3+ years in a dealership or private shop, ASE and manufacturer certifications, and skills in brake, suspension, steering, engine maintenance, and electrical diagnostics. A valid driver’s license is required for all applicants.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a dealership or private shop.
• Up-to-date ASE and manufacturer certifications.
• Experience using scan tools and service information systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose cause of malfunction and complete work per safety and manufacturer standards.
• Road-test vehicles to verify repairs and document results.
• Document work performed on repair orders and time per procedures.
• Maintain an inventory of normal mechanic tools.
