Job summary

BMW of Minnetonka is seeking an Automotive Light Duty Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on BMW and other vehicles, adhering to dealership and manufacturer standards. You will diagnose concerns, conduct road tests, and document results while maintaining tool inventories and pursuing BMW/ASE certifications.

A positive, team-oriented attitude helps ensure a superior customer experience. The position offers flat-rate pay from $17.00 to $30.00+ per flagged hour, plus a production bonus,

Qualifications

• 1+ years of automotive repair experience.
• ASE certifications and/or manufacturer certifications preferred.
• Experience with BMW/European luxury vehicles preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team and deliver excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs per repair orders with efficiency and accuracy.
• Diagnose vehicle concerns and determine appropriate repairs.
• Complete all work according to dealership, manufacturer, and safety standards.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality and vehicle performance.
• Accurately document repairs, test results, and labor time.
• Maintain a personal inventory of standard technician tools.
• Pursue and maintain BMW and ASE certifications through ongoing training.
• Support team goals and deliver an outstanding customer experience.
