Job summary

Lithia Nissan of Ames is hiring an Assistant Service Manager to lead the service team, drive efficiency and uphold OEM standards. You will partner with the Service Manager and guide advisors and technicians to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has automotive service leadership experience in a franchised store, strong KPI skills, and familiarity with CDK/Reynolds & Reynolds or Dealertrack.

Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years of automotive service leadership in a franchised dealership.
Experience leading service advisors and technicians, with KPI focus.
Strong knowledge of CDK/Reynolds & Reynolds or similar systems.
Ability to analyze operational reports and drive performance improvements.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the Service team to meet department goals.
Monitor repair order flow, technician productivity and shop capacity.
Ensure OEM warranty compliance and dealership procedures.
Coach, onboard and develop staff; manage scheduling and workload.
Maintain a safe, clean service environment and support retention initiatives.
