Job summary

Pep Boys is seeking a Store Manager in Duluth, GA to drive service labor, parts, and fleet sales while delivering excellent customer service and ensuring high shop productivity.

You will recruit, develop, and inspire service selling and back‑shop teams, manage daily store operations, and uphold safety and cash handling policies. This role demands leadership and strong communication across teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience in automotive service environment.
• Two-year college or technical program or 1–3 years of service industry experience with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to calculate commissions and discounts using basic math.
• Prior work lead or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct and evaluate reports, ensuring adherence to policies, safety, and environmental codes.
• Lead a team of associates, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Oversee store productivity, profitability, and service standards.
• Train staff on Customer Care Process, CVIs, and store systems.
• Maintain staffing levels and recruit for technician and selling positions.
• Monitor shop productivity and back‑shop operations for efficiency and safety.
• Ensure customer service standards and handle complaints per policies.
• Oversee POS, inventory, and vendor payment processes.
• Partner with Fleet team to sustain customer relationships.
• Advise on tires, parts, and service programs.
• Communicate effectively with staff and customers.
• Open/close responsibilities as a key holder.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
