Driven by Dobbs seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in leading the day-to-day operations of our automotive service center. You will help coach staff, ensure safe, efficient, and profitable service, and monitor sales performance and customer satisfaction.

They will work with scheduling, inventory, and training initiatives to uphold the company's mission and values while delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in leading retail and service teams, including participation in hiring, performance management, coaching, corrective action, and compensation-related decisions.
• Support the direction of store staff in selling, servicing, and repairing vehicles to drive efficiency, quality, and profitability.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of store performance KPIs, including gross profit, tire sales, and service revenue, and help lead the team toward achieving targets.
• Train, coach, and mentor employees on proper repair and maintenance procedures, customer service standards, and operational best practices.
• Create and maintain schedules for front-of-house and back-of-shop employees to ensure appropriate staffing during all operating hours, including store opening and closing.
• Review sales and operational performance data, identify opportunities for improvement, and assist in implementing strategies to achieve financial and operational goals.
• Support inventory management, including ordering, tracking, and accounting for equipment, replacement parts, and tires.
• Assist with general housekeeping, facility upkeep, and hands-on operational tasks as needed, including stocking, organizing, and other store support activities.
• Recommend and support technical training initiatives to promote continuous skill development across all technician levels.
• Ensure all store operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Help foster a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence within the sales and service teams in partnership with the Store Manager.
