Job summary

Pep Boys Inc. is seeking a customer-focused associate to support service desk, sales floor, and register activities. You will engage customers, schedule appointments, and help build trust while recommending parts and services to improve vehicle performance.

The role involves processing transactions, assisting with work orders, and maintaining store organization. Prior automotive service and sales experience are a plus, along with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• 1 year of related experience in automotive service is preferred.
• 1 year of sales experience preferred.
• Basic math skills for commissions and discounts are required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for customers in-store and over the phone.
• Schedule appointments and engage customers to understand needs and timelines.
• Process transactions at work orders and register; upsell parts and services.
• Follow policies on cash, credit, and refunds; address customer issues with management.
