Job summary

Pep Boys Inc. is seeking a customer-focused associate to engage with customers, provide product and service knowledge, and support service desk, sales floor and register operations.

You will schedule appointments, perform basic automotive services, and ensure quality customer experiences at our Texas Lake Worth location. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and at least 1 year of related automotive service or sales experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• 1 year of related experience in automotive service.
• 1 year of sales experience preferred.
• Basic math skills for commissions and discounts.
• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work all shifts (Days, Nights, Weekends, Holidays).

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for customers in store or on the phone, engaging customers and scheduling appointments.
• Manage service desk, work orders and register transactions.
• Assist in various aspects of customer care, work orders and store operations.
• Follow cash, credit, check, refund and return policies; address service issues and opportunities.
• Perform express automotive services (oil changes, tire rotations, etc.) and basic inspections.
• Ensure safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized shop environment.
• Communicate effectively with associates, management and customers.
