Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in the automotive repair industry as a technician, service advisor, or service manager.
• Previous experience supporting or mentoring technicians is preferred.
• Strong technical acumen of automotive repair standards and tools.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assess their tire and automotive service needs with a professional, customer-focused approach.
• Partner with Store Manager to interview, train service technicians and develop technical expertise.
• Evaluate technicians' knowledge and performance, and advise on development and promotions.
• Support store performance goals including service sales, gross profit, customer satisfaction, safety.
• Oversee daily work orders including time, tools, materials, and equipment needs.
• Provide technical expertise and assist diagnosis for general and complex service requests.
• Suggest training to ensure skill improvement for all technician levels.
• Ensure safe shop operations and proper use of tools and PPE.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and inventory.
• Assist in analyzing financial and operational data to identify trends and improve underperforming stores.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve escalated concerns promptly.
• Manage inventory needs of the shop and lead a culture of safety and accountability.
• Meet flexible schedule requirements, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Perform other duties as directed.
