Job summary

Driven by Dobbs is seeking a Service Manager in Training to learn and support all service and repair responsibilities within a single unit retail store environment. This role works closely with store leadership to develop skills needed to manage service and repair operations, ensuring quality, timeliness, safety and employee management standards are met.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in the automotive repair industry as a technician, service advisor, or service manager.
• Strong technical acumen of automotive repair standards.
• Ability to mentor technicians.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn to interview, select and train service technicians.
• Assist in evaluating knowledge and performance of technicians.
• Support service sales and shop profitability goals.
• Assist in scheduling daily work orders and resources.
• Provide technical support for service requests on various makes/models.
• Promote safety and adherence to company policies.
